Donald Trump's glamorous other half isn't exactly your usual potential First Lady.
This week pictures of the wife of the Republican Presidential candidate in a naked photoshoot with another woman, taken three years before she met the US businessman emerged, but that isn't her only brush with nude shoots.
One particularly raunchy photo sees the former model baring her boobs while protecting her modesty with her hands.
According to The New York Post, the pictures were shot by photographer Jarl Alé Alexandre de Basseville back in 1995.
Given the fact that the New York Post publicly endorsed Trump back in April, the timing of such a "leak" seems rather convenient -- just in time to change the narrative amid the current backlash Trump is facing. There is also the question of relevancy. How is something Melania did more than 20 years ago relevant to the person she is today? How is it relevant to the current campaign?
Aside from being popular clickbait (and a distraction from current controversy), the general social media consensus among users seems to be that of genuine disgust. Not with Mrs. Trump, mind you, but with the fact that this is currently being passed off as news. Could the Donald have leaked the photographs himself in order to distract the public, or, is this just further proof that sex still sells?
Melania trump: can we want a country that respects women and provides them with identical possibility? i could be an propose for women and youngsters.
Michelle obama: you spot, in my lifetime and that i’m no longer that old – it changed into perfectly felony for employers to discriminate in opposition to women. in my lifetime, women had been no longer legally allowed to make essential selections about their bodies –- and almost speakme, many still can’t. in my lifetime, home violence became seen as a personal be counted among a man and his wife rather than because the terrible crime that it's miles. and these days, it's so clean to take with no consideration all the progress we’ve made on those varieties of issues.

Melania Trump: I'm an immigrant, and let me tell you, no one values the freedoms and opportunities of America more than me. Both as an independent woman and someone who immigrated to America.
Michelle Obama: Right now, when we’re hearing so much disturbing and hateful rhetoric, it is so important to remember that our diversity has been and will always be our greatest source of strength and pride here in the United States. We are a nation of immigrants. And we should cherish the talent and energy and the beautiful traditions and cultures that come with that heritage, not just today but every day.
