Thursday won an argument before a British court over oil spills in the Niger Delta.
Over 40,000 Niger Delta residents had dragged Shell to a UK court over oil spills in their communities.
 The court ruled that the high-profile case should be heard in Nigeria, but the complainants have argued that they can only get a fair hearing in British courts.
